Symptoms
For Application Relese upgrade from 8.12, 9.0, 9.1 to 9.2 with 64-bit Tools Release, there is a known issue which custom objects (Tables and Business Functions) failing with "COPY FAILED" error in Specification Merge R98700. There needs to be implementing a workaround as mentioned in the following document to create include64 and source64 folders in the source Deployment server path and copy customized object source (.c) and header (.h) files from include/source to include64/source64 prior to run the specification merge.
E1: UPG: Spec Merge Fails to Copy Custom Object Files for an Upgrade from 8.12 to 9.2 64-bit (Doc ID 2916495.1)
However, after implementing the workaround, the specification merge still fails with the same "COPY FAILED" error.
