Symptoms

When attempting to run Check Price and Availability (P4074), the following error occurs.

Status Flow Not Setup (0425).
Cause. . . . . The status flow for the entered order type and line type has not been set up in the Order Activity Rules file (F40203).
Resolution . . Enter a valid order type and line type or add a new order and line type status flow in Order Activity rules (P40204).

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. From Menu select Advanced Check Price and Availability (P4074) Version ZJDE0001.
  2. Populate the following fields and click find:
    • Branch/Plant 
    • Price Effective Date
    • Ship To Address
    • Item Number
    • Quantity From
  3. The program returns “Status Flow Not Setup” (Error ID 0425).
    • Error is returned by F4211SOEInternalFunctions (B4200311) business function on Line 9379 of the code.
  4. Now create a Sales Order (P4210) using the same data.
    • When the line is edited the “Status Flow Not Setup” (Error ID 0425) is NOT returned.
    • Price History (P4074) shows the price adjustments were all applied.
  5. The version of P4210 called from P4074 has SO Order Type and S Line Type populated.
  6. Order Activity Rules (P40204) are setup for the SO Order Type and S Line Type so why is the “Status Flow Not Setup” (Error ID 0425) being returned by P4074?
  7. The issue only happens in the PY environment.
  8. The error does not occur in the PD Environment.
