Symptoms

A pay type is setup with Hours Limit. If an employee enter time in P051127 Employee Daily Time Entry for a pay type without Hours Limit, saves, then changes it to the pay type with Hours Limit and go over the limit no error is given.

Steps:
1. P059116 Pay Type Revisions, pay type 22 sick pay is setup with Hours Limit 80.
2. P079951 Pay History (F0618) shows the employee currently has 56 hours for pay type 22 in history.
3. P051125 Employee Self Service, P051127 Daily Time Entry. Employee enters time using a pay type with no hours limit, click Save, click Close.
4. Employee reopens Daily Time Entry P051127 and changes from pay type 1 to pay type 22. No error is given.
The error is given if the pay type 22 is entered initially.
