Symptoms
When trying to embed an Oracle Analytics Workbook in E1page, the analytics' workbook object is not displayed in the E1 page. If a user creates a classic page using the url of workbook , a blank page with connection refused message is displayed. If user tries to embed the workbook by using OBIEE object type content in a page composer, then the workbook appears as a folder and cannot be selected as an object to embed.
This issue may be replicated using below steps:
- Login to Oracle Analytics Server and copy the url of the workbook intended to be included in JDE E1page.
- Open EnterpriseOne.
- Click the user personal information located on the right side of the banner bar at the top of the screen.
- Under the Personalization category, click the Manage Content - Classic Pages link.
- In the E1 Page Manager tab, enter information into the following fields: Name, Product Code, Description
- Choose the Page Type by selecting Page URL and paste the URL Link copied in step 1.
- Try to preview this page and notice blank preview with connection refused messages.
To replicate in composed page:
- Open the Composed EnterpriseOne Page to which you want to add OBIEE content.
- Click the Create New Content icon on the banner across the top of the screen.
- The Drag and drop to workspace to create dialog box is displayed and shows the kinds of content you can add.
- Click the OBIEE icon and drag and drop the empty frame that appears to the Composed EnterpriseOne Page.
- You can position the empty frame horizontally or vertically on the Composed EnterpriseOne Page. After you drop the empty frame on the Composed EnterpriseOne Page, the Select OBIEE object dialog is displayed showing a list of folders.
- From Catalog Root, click the name of the folder for which you want to create OBIEE content.
- If additional folders appear on the Select OBIEE object window, continue to navigate through the folders. Once you select the containing folder,You will notice that workbook itself appears as folder and one cannot select this object as this appears in form a folder instead of a selectable object.
