E1: 49: Supplier Address Override (P4006) not Updating Shipment Header (F4215) if Called from PO Entry (P4310) (Doc ID 3046785.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 10, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When updating the Order Address for the Supplier on a TMS Purchase Order using the P4006 (Order Address Information), the shipment header (F4215) is not being updated with the new values. This only occurs when the order address information is updated from the P4310 by taking the row exit to the P4006. If the address is overridden by calling the P4006 from the P4915 (Work with Shipments), the origin address information is properly updated in the F4215.

STEPS

1. Find a valid supplier in the Address Book (P01012) and verify the mailing tab for the address, city, state, etc.
2. Go into the P4310 and create a TMS purchase order for the supplier.
3. Go into Work with Shipments (P4915) and verify the origin address information (city, state, etc).
4. Go back into the P4310 and find the purchase order created. Take the row exit to Order Addresses. Change the city and state for the supplier.
5. Go back into the P4915 and note the city and state on the shipment has not been changed. It retains the original value setup in the address book.
6. If the Address Overrides is performed from the P4915 (on form W4915K), the address information is properly updated. The same application is called from both applications, but only the address override from the P4915 will properly update the origin address information on the shipment header.
