E1: 31: Phantom Text Line on BOM (P3002) Copied Out of Order to Parts List (P3111) (Doc ID 3051075.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 07, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When multiple Phantoms exist on a P3002 BOM, the text lines are not copied to the P3111 Parts List in the same order as the BOM line number CPNB.
For example, the BOM Text1, Component, Text2, Parts List becomes Component, Text1, Text2.

Steps:

  1. Create a Phantom within a Phantom.
  2. Each Phantom must have stock and text lines.
  3. Enter a P3002 Bill of Material with multiple Phantoms.
  4. Create a WO P48013.
  5. Run R31410 Set Tab #4 PL  Phantom Operation Sequence Number “1” = Use the phantom's (parent) operation sequence number.
  6. Review PL P3111 and notice the sequence has changed and does not follow the line number CPNB.
