E1: E1PAGE: CAF1: Embedded OAS Reports Display "Refused to Connect" Error if Not Logged into OAS URL in Another Tab Within the Same Browser (Doc ID 3053866.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 16, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to embed an OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) report in a composed page or in a cafeone layout, the frame displays "Refused to Connect" message instead of displaying the report in the frame. When this happens, below error message is captured in the browser console:

Refused to frame 'https://<OAS Server>:<port>/' because an ancestor violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "frame-ancestors 'self'".

Embedded report is displayed as expected with no such console errors, if the user logs into the OAS URL in another tab within the same browser.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Create the required OAS Connection
  2. Create a new composed page or a cafeone layout to add an OAS report
