Symptoms
When running DRP - Master Planning Schedule - Multiple Plant - R3483, the system does not plan for all items in a single run, therefore the DRP messages are not generated even if data selecting less than 999 items for the DRP run.
This occurs when the DRP is run with Forecast Consumption by Customer logic activated and some insert errors can be observed for F3411 table due to unique key constraint violated on F3411.UKID field.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Create an item in multiple branches and setup branch/plant relationships.
- Add some demand in the demand branch and run R3483.
- Process the messages suggested by MRP, including ST/OT orders.
- Modify the demand in the demand branch so that some action (defer/expedite/increase/decrease) should be triggered on the ST/OT order.
- Run R3483 again, observe the F3411 insert error in the logs. You may also see incorrect planning results due to these insert errors.
