Symptoms

When a status change is entered in P08720, Employee Status Change Request, after Approval, the PSAL (previous salary) field in F060116 is not updated with the most recent previous salary.

STEPS:

  1. Enter a status change for 'PROMO' in P08720 with a new salary and approve.
  2. Check F060116, Employee Master, PSAL (previous salary) field.
  3. Note the previous salary shown is NOT the most recent previous salary.
