Symptoms

The Priority Code (PRIO) does not default into the Sales Detail information (F4211) with Advanced Preferences set up using Type 02 (Detail) with Headerless Detail (P40711) for Priority (PRIO) code. The Schedule is found, but the PRIO code does not update.

Steps to Duplicate
1. Customer Billing Instructions (P03013) / page 2 – PRIO code = 1 as default into sales order
2. Headerless Detail (P40711)
    Set fields:
    Target Application = 5
    Data item = Priority (PRIO)
    Pref Record Type = 2 (The test results are the same set = 1.)
    Advanced Pref Type = 02 (details)
3. Preference Profile Set up G40311 / Preference Name (P4071) = DETAILS
4. Preference Hierarchy – Item/ Ship to Customer
5. Preference Details (P4072)- Details and Click Row Exit / Details
    PRIO code is populated = 5. This field is on the screen due to the set up In Headerless Detail P40711.
6. Advanced Preference Schedule (P4070) = DETAILS
7. Set up (P4210) Sales Order Entry / Preference Tab = Activate Pref profiles and Override Adv Pref Schedule = DETAILS.
8. Sales Order Entry P4210 - Enter a new order or go to an existing order and enter a new line for the item with ship to address, quantity and tab off the line.
9. Check the SOE Additional Detail and note the Priority Code (PRIO) Code = 5 did not default from preferences. The PRIO field = 1 which is the default from the Customer Billing Instructions.
10. Re-inquire on the saved SO and check the Additional Detail / same result.
Note: The result is the same with Fulfillment set up.
