E1: 44H: Lot Start Workfile Generation R44H700 Pulls Bid for Invalid Base House Plan/Elevation Combination (Doc ID 3056367.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 29, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Homebuilder - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Where a Bid exists with Base House Records for an Elevation value that matches a Lot’s Elevation, but where the Plan value does NOT match, the Lot Start Workfile application pulls the bid and includes it in the Workfile.

STEPS

  1. Add a new Homebuilder lot, and release it for sale. Assign a specific Plan/Elevation combination, for example 2340 and A. Ensure the Supplier Assignment records exist for the Trade Code and Cost Code to be used in a Bid.
  2. Create a Bid/Contract with Base House records and for a specific Cost Code that that are set for the same Elevation (A) but for Plans that are not the same as the Lot, so for Plans other than 2340 in this example.
  3. Execute the Lot Start Workfile Generation UBE (R44H700) and then review the Lot Start Workfile. A record exists for the BC number added in step 2. It appears as though the first line in the Bid/Contract is used.
