E1: SVM: Enhancement Request to Automate the Transfer of Centralized Configurations when Changing Server Manager Management Consoles (Doc ID 3056907.1)

Symptoms

 In one situation, the Server Manager Management Console needed to be changed to a new WebLogic Server as the WebLogic Server was being replaced with a higher release, 12.2.1.4 to 14.1.1

There are other reasons to change Server Manager Management Consoles

When doing this, Centralized Configurations currently have to be transferred manually, there is no automated process to export or import configurations.

Steps to Change
1. Backup server-groups.sxml,jas.ini,jdbj.in,tnsnames.ora and e1central folder on the old SMC
2. Uninstall the old WebLogic instance including SMC
3. Install new WebLogic
4. Install new SMC
5. Stop SMC
6. Copy/Restore server-groups.xml,jas.ini,jdbj.in,tnsnames.ora and e1central folder to the new SMC instance
7. Start SMC
