E1: 42: Web Client Exception Error in Sales Order Entry (P4210) If Activating Inventory Commitment Preference

Symptoms
In Sales Order Entry (P4210) processing option, setting the processing option #2 (Inventory Commitment Preference) = 1 in the Preference Tab so that the system performs inventory commitment preference for current orders. When this setting is used, the P4210 issues WEB CLIENT EXCEPTION error when entering a grid and try to save the order.
STEP:
- In the Preference Master (P40070), define preference master.
- In the Inventory Commitment Profiles (P40306), setup Item group and define it to the item.
- In the processing option of the Sales Order Entry (P4210), set PO #2 (Inventory Commitment Preference) = 1 in the Preference tab, and #3. Display Header or Detail = 1 in the Process tab.
- Create a new sales order in P4210
- Enter a grid and go to the next line.
- The system throws the <Web Client Exception error. There was a problem with the server while running the business function F4211FSEditLine.>
