E1: CAF1: Enhancement Request to Refresh Embedded Form Content After User Exit Out of Child Form Popup Content Mode Where Changes Were Made (Doc ID 3058699.1)

Symptoms

After user made any changes in the popup content child form, the changes made are not reflected in the embedded child form in a CafeOne layout when user exit out of the popup content mode. User will need to either click on the Find button or Refresh button on the embedded child form to see the changes made.

Steps to duplicate:

1. Create a CafeOne Layout . See an example below:
   
   Parent Form:  P01012 | W01012B Work With Addresses
   Child Form: P0111 | W0111A Who’s Who
   Dynamic Link : Address Number  is mapped to   AN8(Address number)   Grid column.
   
   
   
   
2. Select a grid record on the parent form. And select the “Popup Content” icon on the child form.
   
   
   
   
3. In the Popup Content child form, enter a new grid row record in the grid. Click OK to save.
   
   
   
   
4. Back in the CafeOne Layout, noticed that the saved changes disappear from the grid in the child form.
   
   
   
   
5. User will need to click either the “Find” button or “Refresh” button on the child form to see the saved changes.
