E1: 32: Configured Item History (P3210) Populates Calculated Alphanumeric Segments with "1" (Doc ID 3059691.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When configuring a dynamic configured item in Configured Item Revisions (P3210) where there are alphanumeric calculated segments linked to a UDC, using the Configured Item History will result in the calculated segments being incorrectly updated to '1'. The issue is related to Bug 36811208

Steps:
1. Create a configured item (P4101/P41026).
2. In Configured Item Segments, create multiple required and calculated segments.
3. Create C Assembly Inclusion Rules (P3293) that are linked to UDCs and that can return certain values present in the UDC.
4. Create a Sales Order (P4210).
5. The system will call Configured Item Revisions (P3210); use the Configured Item History exit and select an order from the grid.
6. When the system returns to the P3210, notice that the calculated alphanumeric fields are populated with '1'.
