Symptoms

When processing pre-payroll, P07210 or interim entry, P07210I, for a Canadian employee who has reached the CPP level 1 limit but not calculated CPP level 2 limit, the gross pay on the pay stub and Payroll Register is equal to the CPP level 2 amount.

STEPS:

  1. Process payroll, P07210, for a Canadian employee to reach the CPP level 1 limit but not enough for CPP level 2 to calculate.
  2. Process the next payroll, P07210, where CPP2 calculates.
  3. The gross pay is equal to the CPP2 amount on the pay stub and Payroll Register, R073012.

**F07940 record count equals 315.  This issue does not occur when the table count is 277.
