E1: 46: Error Calculations do not match (3212) in U/M Definition by Item (P46011) Due to Rounding Gross Cubes (Doc ID 3060768.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add a new item in the U/M Definition by Item (P46011) and the dimensions are entered as 15.20x12x6.30 IN (inches), the gross cubes are not rounding up to the correct values. The value is calculated at .66, but if manually calculated using the following numbers, the gross cubes should be .67:

(15.2*12*6.3=1149.12/1728=0.665)

The value is initially accepted, but if any changes are required on the item, the following error appears

Calculations do not match (3212)


STEPS

1. Add a new item in the Item Master (P4101) and Item Branch (P41026) in a Warehousing branch.
2. Go into the P46011 and add the item in IN UOM with the following dimensions:

15.20x12x6.30 IN

3. Click OK to add the record. No error is received.
4. Go back into the item and attempt to change a value. The error Calculations do not match (3212) is received.
