E1: 74B: Yearly VAT Report – Belgium (R74B150) Reports an Incorrect Tax ID Error When Tax ID Begins With "BE1" (Doc ID 3062170.1)

Symptoms

After recent changes to the Belgium Tax ID the Tax ID in Belgium can start with "BE1", instead of previously "BE0".
Because of these changes the Tax ID validation done by Yearly VAT Report – Belgium (R74B150) is not correct for some Tax IDs. The report gives an incorrect error message:


Steps:

  1. Set up Customer with a certain Belgium tax id start with "BE1" as follows.
  2. In Standard Invoice (P03B2002) enter invoice with tax then post the invoice.
  3. Run the Yearly VAT Report – Belgium (R74B150) with Processing Options and Data Selection to select the invoice from step 2 and notice it ended had the error described above.
