(Doc ID 3062347.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Using AIS CLIENT JAVA API 2.1.13
When calling a business function via the AIS client JAR, it does not return proper output if one input parameter is an empty string "".
This does not happen with a REST request against the AIS, e.g. with Postman or SoapUI.
If you set the input parameter to a whitespace " " , it is working.
The business function itself is able to handle a empty/blank szCostcenter as input and sets is to "*" in the first NER code line.
