Symptoms
When items exist in multiple branches, and Supplier Item Relationships are held at branch level, the copying of this data in P43090 results in a red/hard error suggesting that the item branch record for the copy to branch does not exist, even if it does. This is an invalid error. Clicking on the OK button again results in the red error being ignored and the Supplier Item Relationship record being accepted.
ERROR
-----------------------
Error ID: 0294 Item Branch Record Does not exist.
Steps:
- Create an item master and an item branch record in P4101/P41026
- Create a Supplier/Item Relationship in P43090 for the item/branch created in step 1
- Copy the item branch record to a new branch in P41026
- Then copy the P43090 Supplier/Item Relationship to the new branch. Find, then select the original record and click on the copy button. Overwrite the original branch/plant to the new branch/plant name. When clicking on OK, the following error is shown, but the item branch record has been created as shown in step 3, so the error is invalid. Error ID: 0294 Item Branch Record Does not exist.
- Clicking OK again, clears the error and clicking Find again in the Find / Browse screen shows the new record has been accepted.
