Currently, Bill of Material (BOM) application (P3002 / F3002) does not have any fields like the WO Parts List (P3111 / F3111) has for allowing users to manually assign the Lot Serial Number (Alias: LOTN) and the Location (Alias: LOCN) and create manufacturing commitments on the fly.

There is a business need to have the fields Location and Lot Serial Number added on the grid of P3002 / F3002, so that the users can pre-populate these fields in advance and have them defaulted into the WO P.L. as an overriding option for the (automated) commitment process performed in manufacturing.
