Symptoms

After loading the 2024 Year End ESU's, and Vertex 4.5.5, New Jersey Family Leave insurance (tax area 31/tax type G1) is no longer calculating in Pre-Payroll, P07210, or Interim Entry, P07210I.

STEPS:

  1. Set up 31/G1 on Unemployment Rates Table, P079221,
  2. Process payroll for a New Jersey (31) employee.
  3. Review Tax Detail, P07353, and 31/G1 did not calculate.
