Symptoms

The notification which has the "Run as Subscriber" flag enabled, is failing for the half of the subscribed users, on a system where LDAP authentication is on. The issue started to occur after some of the subscribed users have been removed from LDAP server.

The AIS server e1root log shows the following error:

Changes

 Users being part of the subscribed users to notifications having the "Run as Subscriber" flag on, have been deleted from LDAP, or have been moved outside the LDAP search base or outside the groups the search LDAP filter is based on.
