E1: 45: Rounding Rule Incorrectly Applied with Quantity Change in Powerforms P42101
(Doc ID 3065007.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 24, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The customer uses a rounding rule adjustment, to round a price to the nearest dime (10 cents USD). The calculation performed is correct when applied initially for quantity X, and also when an Amount-based Basket adjustment is applied. If the order quantity is then set to the original value, and the Basket adjustment is removed through the Reprice Order action, the rounding rule calculation is invalid.
STEPS TO DUPLICATE:
- Add a rounding rule that rounds the price to the nearest dime. Add the adjustment to a schedule. Add a Basket level adjustment that is Amount based ($ value of the order).
- Enter an order where the rounding adjustment will come into play, and observe that it works correctly.
- Increase the order quantity to a higher level, so that the threshold in the basket adjustment is crossed (for example $1000). Reprice the order and observe that the rounding calculation is correct, maintaining a unit price rounded to the nearest 10 cents.
- Decrease the order quantity back to the original value, and perform a further reprice, to remove the Basket level adjustment.
- The rounding rule calculation appears to be based on the higher quantity and fails to recalculate correctly, resulting in a unit price that is not rounded to the nearest 10 cents.
