E1: E1PAGE: EnterpriseOne Search Group That Contains a Date Column Fails With Error on the Second Search (Doc ID 3066410.1)

Symptoms

EnterpriseOne Search (E1SEARCH) result shows as "Error" when user performs search a second time.

User performs a search for an item (e.g. Item Number 171414) and it returns results. Then user performs the search for the same item again and it shows "Error" for the results. A cache clear can reset it but it will happen again.

Steps to Duplicate:

 

  1. Search for an item (e.g., 171414) in Search box.




  2. See correct results.



  3. Search for the item again.

  4. See "Error" in those Search Groups which contain a Date Column.


     
    In this example, Search Groups "New Customer Inquiry", "Payment Inquiry", "Supplier History", "Customer Inquiry" and "Supplier Inquiry" will fail on the second search and they all contain date column(s). Only Search Group "Contract-PO Inquiry" does not Error out.

In the User Specific JAS Debug Log, the following "ADVANCED QUERY ERROR" errors are seen on Date fields:
