Symptoms

Empty Tank for a In Place Operation (TANKMT) generating "Tank is Not Empty" 461WIM error on empty tank

Empty Tank In Place Operations (TANKMT) are generating a "Tank is Not Empty" error on tank that was emptied by a prior Adjust Inventory (ADJINV) operation.
The Adjust Inventory operation adjusted the volume of the tank to zero, with a 25 gallon operational loss. The TANKMT operation sees the zero quantity after lot of the ADJINV operation and thinks the tank is not empty.

However, if you instruct a T2T operation on the same tank, the system generates a No Before lot error.

ERROR:
"Tank is Not Empty" 461WIM

Steps:

  1. Create an ADJINV operation and empty the tank (set after lot volume to 0)(P31B94)
  2. ADJINV Operation data showing the tank has a zero quantity after lot.
  3. Instruct a TANKMT operation, and add the empty tank from the ADJINV step (P31B87)
  4. This will generate a "Tank is not Empty" Error ((461WIM)
