E1: ORCH: Report Output Not in .CSV Format When Submitted By Logic Extension (Doc ID 3068289.1)

Symptoms

When report is called from Logic Extension using ‘Report logic’ with a csv version, it always print the report in PDF format and ignores the csv setup. The report version is configured to always be exported in CSV format. Refer to document E1: RDA: Formatting a Report to Export to CSV (Doc ID 626452.1).  The same report version when executed directly on web client produces the output in csv format.

From Submitted Job Search (WSJ) screen, when user tries to View CSV output for the submitted report by Logic Extension, the following error is seen:


  
Steps to duplicate:

  1. Create a Batch Version on fat client that always print to CSV format. (In RDA, Version Design, Print Options, select "Export to CSV" checkbox).
  2. Check in version.
  3. Build and Deploy an update package for Report template and Version.
  4. In Orchestrator Studio, create Orchestration with Logic Extension that contains Report task to launch the report Version.
  5. Run Orchestration.
  6. Sign on to the webl client. In Submitted Job Search, find the submitted job and select Row Exit -> View CSV.
  7. Receive error:  "UBE: Retrieve of UBE file failed. The file may not exist on Enterprise Server."
