Symptoms

PO generator (P43011) is not suggesting to release PO even when the quantity available is lower than the reorder point when -

  1. Values in Item Branch --> Row Exit --> Quantities are:
    • Reorder Qty = BLANK
    • Maximum Reorder Qty = BLANK
    • Minimum Reorder Qty = BLANK
    • Reorder Point = 5000
    • Multiple Order Qty = BLANK
    • Unit Per Container = 1
    • Safety Stock = 5000

  2. Values in Item Branch --> Row Exit --> Additional System Info are:
    • Order Policy Code = 0 (ReOrderPoint)

  3. Quantity Available from Item Availability (P41202) is less than Reorder Point.

  4. Value of Economic Order Quantity in PO Generator for the item and branch = Negative (-21,474,836,48)
