Symptoms

In Norway an identification number is used for government payments to identify the customer and the invoice. This identification number is called the Kunde ID or KID number. This number is currently widely used for domestic payments, and a large number of companies are demanding it before they will accept a payment. A company can instruct their bank to require this number, so the bank will fail all payments without it if this has been instructed.
