Last updated on MARCH 24, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

For inventory items that exist in multiple branches, and Supplier Item Relationships are held at branch level, when copying an existing record in P43090 and changing the branch plant and click OK, the system issues an invalid error.

The error 'Item Branch Record Does Not Exist', Error ID: 0294, is issued even when the item branch record already exists.  This is an invalid error.

Note that clicking on the OK button again results in the hard (red) error being ignored and the Supplier Item Relationship record being accepted.

Steps:

  1. Find an existing supplier item relationship record and click Copy on P43090.
  2. Change the Branch/Plant.
  3. Click OK. Get the 'Item Branch Record Does Not Exist' error, even though the item branch record exists.  Error ID: 0294 Item Branch Record Does not exist.
