As part of JD Edwards delivery of continuous innovation, today Oracle JD Edwards announces the availability of additional innovation for EnterpriseOne Release 25.

Release 25 includes innovation for both Applications and Tools. Some key innovation delivered with Release 25 includes intuitive user interfaces, configuration to eliminate the need for customizations, automation that eliminates manual steps, optimization for continuous adoption, and solutions that enable you to maintain compliance with regulatory and platform requirements.

Augmenting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services (including AI Services)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offers an array of cloud services, many of which can be called as REST APIs. These services include Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities such as Document Understanding, Vision (image recognition), and Language Services. Using Orchestrator to call these OCI services, and especially using Orchestrator to integrate these OCI services with EnterpriseOne applications and business data, enables you to build automated processes that augment the value of your EnterpriseOne system. For example, you could build an orchestration to send an image file to OCI Object Storage, call the OCI Vision service to analyze the image, and return data back to the EnterpriseOne Quality Management application. The usage patterns and possibilities are endless.
This feature provides a set of content deliverables, such as business and technical papers, learning paths, and a video, to help you imagine and create your own solutions by augmenting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with OCI Services.

Sustainability Framework - Capture and Store Mobile Combustion Data (Scope 1) The JD Edwards Sustainability Framework simplifies and streamlines the collection of environmental data. This feature provides the ability to collect the fuel usage in mobile or portable devices, such as vehicles, airplanes, ships, or small engines in JD Edwards transactions, such as Voucher Match and Standard Voucher applications. It also minimizes manual data input and automatically defaults the activity sources in the JD Edwards transaction applications based on the Activity Source Preference setup, enhancing both efficiency and accuracy.
The framework enables users to directly record mobile combustion data into the Sustainability Activity Ledger.
