Last updated on MARCH 07, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After the tools release has been upgraded from a earlier version than 9.2.7.1 to a more recent version, it has been noticed that in case one user logs into JD Edwards EnterpriseOne from an E1 HTML server and then the user logs off, after logging off, the size of all Call Object Kernel log files is increasing fast (every 6 to 7 seconds).
In each Call Object Kernel log the following sequence of messages are recorded:

 Steps to replicate:
1. Stop the Enterprise Server and clear the logs
2. Start the Enterprise Server services and check that the kernels are initialized without any error being reported.
3. Login in JDE from E1 HTML server and check the size of the log files and notice that the size of several log files is not increased yet.
4. Log off from E1 HTML server and check again the size of the Call Object Kernel log files. Notice that from now on the size is increasing very fast even though no other user is logged into JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
