E1: 07: Multiple Wage Attachments Not working For More Than 2 Deductions (Doc ID 3075429.1)

Last updated on MARCH 06, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An employee with three wage attachments for the same PDBA code shows the process only takes 10% from the first two wage attachments. The multiple wage attachment process should take 10% over all of them. The system is not following the Court order to split the deduction between all the DBAs.

Steps to duplicate:
Test 1
1. From P07107 added three garnishment to the Employee (EE), DBA 1630.
2. Add Multiple Wage Attachment Rules for the DBA to calculate 20% of Gross.
3. From P07210I ran an interim test. All three Wage Attachments calculated.
   Gross Payment 1,764.40
   Total of the three DBAs calculated 1,764.40 X 20% = 352.88
   System is working as expected.

Test 2
Same employee.
1. Changed Multiple Wage Attachment Rules for the DBA to calculate 10% of Gross.
2. From P07210I ran an interim test, all three Wage Attachments calculated.
   Gross Payment 1,764.40
Total of the three DBAs calculated 176.44 but just between two Wage Attachments.
By the Court order, this should split the deduction between all the DBAs regardless of the withholding limits.
