E1: 07: Oregon Workers Comp Tax Types GM, H1 And HM Are No Longer Calculating (B0700009) (Doc ID 3075896.1)

Last updated on MARCH 10, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The tax types GM, HM, and H1 are currently not being calculated for Oregon. This issue may also affect other states utilizing GM and HM. Support has identified Bug 35693262, which previously addressed the calculation for GM and HM; however, a subsequent bug appears to have disrupted their functionality again.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Confirm the test setup includes an employee who both works and resides in Oregon.
  2. Using the P07210I screen, create an interim payment for the employee with regular pay of $1000.00. (Refer to the Vertex Guide—no wage base is required for workers' compensation.)
  3. Activate the calculation by clicking the purple calculator icon and observe that the tax types GM, HM, and H1 are not calculated.
  4. Note: According to the customer, this issue first appeared in 2025. Support testing in both 2024 and 2025 confirmed that these tax types were not calculated in either scenario.
