E1: PKG: When Submitting Packages from Web Build is not Successful with error 'WARNING: Message not received by server Deployment Server <servername>. Error Timeout.' in the svrpkgbuild.log (Doc ID 3078499.1)

Symptoms


In 9.2.5.x tools release or later, when attempting to Build full package from the web the package build output ends in error with build status as 'Build Started' with Central objects in 'Not Built' status.

In the package build kernel log the following error occurs.

[PKGBLD] - Wed Mar 19 16:26:50 - spkgwebserver.c:477 PKGENG0081 ERROR: Cannot initialize the Deployment Server, make sure the services are running on the Deployment server. Will not continue because it is also a CLIENT package.

In the svrpkgbuild.log in the enterprise server  /e920/package/<packagename> folder the following errors are seen

- Initialize the Deployment Server '<deploymentservername>'.
- WARNING: Message not received by server Deployment Server <deploymentservername>. Error Timeout.
- spkgwebserver.c:477 PKGENG0081 ERROR: Cannot initialize the Deployment Server, make sure the services are running on the Deployment server


Steps

  1. Login in web
  2. Follow steps in Assembling a Package Using Web Applications (Release 9.2.5) to assemble a package
  3. Submit the build using Building a Package From the Web (Release 9.2.5)
