Symptoms

The P1311 Condition-Based Alerts Revisions program allows adding a record with the Event Time of 00:00:xx, but cannot edit the record later without generating a hard error.  When edit or update the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) record with time 00:00 in P3111, get a hard system error, Invalid Event Time Warning, Error ID 1A59.  This is an invalid error, as Event Time 00:00 can be saved to the record, initially.
.
Steps:

  1. G1311/P1701 Equipment Master - Add or Select Asset Record for Condition Based Maintenance tracking.
  2. G13CBM10/P1310 Condition-Based Alerts Workbench - Add a Condition-Based Alert.
  3. P1311 Condition-Based Alerts Revisions - Enter Event Description, Alert Level, and Event Date.  Enter Event Time as 00:00:xx.  Optionally, populate Equipment or Asset Number (ASII).  Save Changes.
  4. P1310 - Reinquire and validate that record was saved with no hard errors.  Select record for update in P1311.
  5. P1311 - Add text or other update and save changes.
  6. System Generates Invalid Event Time hard error, Error ID 1A59.
