E1: 42: Kit Pricing And Price Overrides Ignored When Changing Sales Order Dates
(Doc ID 3080169.1)
Last updated on APRIL 03, 2025
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Create a sales quote with a kit that has kit pricing method = 2 in its Item Master Set UP (price UPRC is at kit parent level). Re-inquire on the kit and click Row Exit to Zero Price and note the price override flag PROV is flagged in the SO detail file F4211. Generate sales order from the quote, the kit parent now has a no price and PROV is set to 1. Change the request date on the sales order and the P4210 populates the price with the component pricing even with PROV set on. The same issue occurs when the sales order is copied.
STEPS
1) Create Kit with Kit/Configurator Pricing Method = '2', List Price of Final Kit. Kit example is item KITP and the components are items KITC2 and KITC3.
2) Create P4106 prices for the Kit item number and the component item numbers.
3) Create Quote Order with P4210 for the Kit.
3a) Re-inquire on Quote and Row Exit to Zero Price (this is common practice at the client to provide free goods)
3b) Save Order.
4) Release quote using the P420111. The new SO has zero price and PROV = 1 for parent line.
5) Inquire on new SO using P4210 and change the requisition date.
6) Re-inquire on sales order and note that the price is now populated and PROV is set to 1.
