Purpose

Overview

Pricing is arguably the most complex aspect of any business; it may take you considerable time to plan, set up, and maintain pricing information. Setting up JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing is straightforward and requires minimal maintenance. You can use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing from Oracle to manage pricing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement.

Using the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing and Procurement systems, you can process adjustments per line item to adjust the costs that suppliers charge you based on the quantities or amounts in a order You can also:

    Change the cost on a batch of purchase orders or receipts.

    Create hierarchical search sequences.

    Set up and track free goods.

    Conduct an online review of adjustment history.

    In 9.2 release ONLY, use basket adjustments to adjust the costs of a basket of items that you purchase.
