Cancel date is populated automatically for lines types with an A Inventory Interface and a B Inventory Interface and in 8.9 and higher with a C Inventory Interface.

Cancel Date in Purchase Order Detail line is populated in different ways in different release. This date also has an impact on how the de-commit takes place in the system if the business is tracking encumbrances.
