Goal
Many clients would like to be able to run reports on the accounts receivable side to see how much tax was collected for each state. With standard EnterpriseOne taxes, the Tax/Rate Area can be flexed into the 4250 AAI account. However, when using Vertex, the state is part of the GeoCode. There is no real way of parsing the state value in the GeoCode and using that in flexible accounting. This document outlines a way to flex the state information when using Vertex
