The multiple units of measure functionality, available in releases 8.9 and above, provides the user the ability to apply an adjustment factor value based on a different unit of measure than the defined level break unit of measure. For example, a customer could qualify for an adjustment if two tons of a product is ordered, but the discount could be based on cases. This allows for adjustments to be setup using a weight unit of measure and then applied based on a quantity unit of measure. The functionality can be beneficial to customers whose industries deal with volatile quantities. For example, a ton of a product will always weigh the same amount, but it may contain a different number of cases. Using multiple units of measure, the adjustment can be found in tons and then applied based on the number of cases.
