JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version XE and later JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Procurement - Version XE and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Enhanced Basket functionality provides the user greater flexibility when setting up and processing basket adjustments. In release XE, the basket process only allowed for an item to be in one basket and for all qualifying sales order lines to be given the same discount. Enhanced Baskets provides the user with the following additional benefits:
Price Adjustments can be defined based on one Item or Item Group and grant the price adjustment to another Item or Item Group.
Adjustments that are dependent on two Items or Item Groups reaching an aggregate level break as well as both Items or Item Groups reaching specific individual level breaks can now be calculated.
Now, within a Basket Group, Item and/or Item Group minimums can be setup as requirements for adjustments to be applied. Based on these Item/Item Group minimums, different factor values can be applied to separate sales order lines.
Basket Master (P4550) application provides one location to view all basket combinations instead of looking at each item's Basket Reprice Group in the Item/Branch Plant Information (P41026/F4201).
The enhanced basket functionality does not preclude the use of the basic basket repricing functionality; rather, enhanced baskets are an additional, more flexible option provided in addition to basic basket repricing.
The main setup application in enhanced basket functionality is the Basket Master (P4550) application. It is here where the user creates an Enhanced Basket Group, specifies the unit of measure for which the group will be accumulated, creates effective dates, and specifies the accumulation and pricing rules for the item/item group.
Enhanced Basket functionality provides the user with greater flexibility when setting up and processing basket adjustments. This functionality is available in EnterpriseOne release 8.9 and above.
