Purpose

Prior to the introduction of the Tier Structure Rebates functionality, rebates could be accumulated only at the Pricing Address of a sales order and the option of the rebate beneficiary was limited to the Parent Address Book Number or any one of six Related Address Book Numbers that were associated with the ordering Company. Tier Structure Rebates leverage the concept of Buying Structures to allow the definition of accumulate at address and beneficiary by Tier. Rebate Adjustments can now be defined to accumulate on any Tier Level on the condition that the Accumulate at Tier is at a level equal to or lower (numerically equal to or greater) than the Beneficiary Tier. The Beneficiary can be defined by Tier or it can be assigned to a specific address.

This functionality is available in Release 8.9 and above.
