Purpose

The Mass Maintenance (P45550) application enables multiple price adjustment records to be maintained simultaneously, including updating or creating new records by copying existing ones. If desired, Search Agents can be used to find all of the price adjustment records to be updated or copied. For more information on Search Agents, see E1: 45: Search Agents (Doc ID 625696.1).

Though traditionally referred to as "Mass Maintenance", the P45550 Program name is actually "Price Adjustments Global Revisions" when launched. When viewed in the Interactive Versions (IV), the name appears as "F4072 Global Update Engine". The P45550 program was created as a global advanced pricing update tool that bypasses approvals; not all users should have access to this global update program. The program typically has user security applied to it to restrict access since approvals are bypassed. The program is located on the 'Advanced Operations' menu, G423114.

Beginning with EnterpriseOne release 8.12, processing options were added to Mass Maintenance (P45550). The application can now be configured for Update or Copy mode, and the adjustment type can be specified (sales, procurement, or receipt).
