Supplier Proof of Sales Rebates are used to define supplier rebates that are eligible based on the sales of products to targeted customers or customer groups. For example, Salad Dressing Company is launching a new line of Low-Calorie salad dressings. In order to promote their new dressings, the company is offering a rebate to its customers when they sell the new product line to large chain supermarkets or superstores. When sales of the new low-calorie dressing to any qualifying supermarket or superstore reach 100,000 cases, the Salad Dressing Company will rebate $1.00 off per case.
