Purpose

Overview

Supplier Proof of Sales Rebates are used to create supplier rebates that are eligible to customers based on the sales of products. For example, Salad Dressing Company is launching a new line of low-calorie salad dressings. In order to promote the new product, the company is offering a rebate to its customers when they sell the new product line to large chain supermarkets or superstores. When sales of the new product reach 10,000 cases, the Salad Dressing Company will rebate $5.00 off per case.
