Purpose

 This document provides comprehensive information and scenarios for processing mass changes to employees.

Scope

Many times due to acquisitions, mergers, relocations, companies are required to move a group of employees from one location to another;  or  the company may choose to increase salaries for a select group of employees.  JD Edwards EnterpriseOne allows the user to process mass changes to change similar information for groups of employees at one time. For example, the user could process mass changes to change employees in one business unit to a different business unit..  The process could be used to increase salaries across the board or for a select group of employees..  Any changes should be carefully researched for other items that could be affected by the change.  (Example; business unit changes might require additional AAI setup, benefit group changes might require additional enrollment steps, etc..)
