This FAQ will answer some frequently asked questions regarding dual units of measure. By allowing companies to record inventory and manage transactions in two variable units of measure, the dual units of measure capability can help improve customer service through better fill rates and increase profitability through accurate billing. Companies can buy in one unit of measure and price and sell in another, even though there is no standard conversion between the units of measure.
The following industries will benefit most from the new dual units of measure capability: fresh and perishable food, chemicals, paper, building materials, and steel.
