System Code: 17-Customer Service Management System Code: 31-Shop Floor Management Work Order Time Entry (P311221) and Hours and Quantities Update UBE (R31422)
Purpose
Overview
The Hours and Quantity application (P311221), located on menu G3112 is used to enter actual hours (Hrs) and quantities (QTY) for discrete work orders (P48013) and Service Management Work Orders (P17714 / P90CD020).
Hours and Quantities Update (G3112/R31422) post hour and quantities by updating the Work Order Routing table (F3112) with unaccounted labor units and amounts for each work order at operation. After the update, the system clears the form, and the records that were processed no longer appear in the form.
This document will enable users to better understand the setup requirements and the impact of that setup.
This document is addition to the implementation manuals, and will cover basic setup of the P311221 Hours and Quantities application within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. This application is also used by CRMs Service and Warranty Mmgt, with their Service Order application.
In releases prior to 8.9, there was no method to have operation yield calculated for a work order when entering quantities through Hours and Quantities (P311221). This solution will include the use and formulae of the new functionality as well as common use and setup of P311221.
