Purpose

You can use the RUNUBE and the RUNUBEXML commands to submit batch jobs (UBEs) directly from the Enterprise Server Console. This allows third party programs to submit batch jobs for processing in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

This document provides information specific to using the RUNUBE command on the Enterprise Server. For information on the RUNUBEXML command refer to <Document 628799.1> (E1: UBE: Overview of Using RUNUBEXML Command).

Scope

This document is intended for JDE developers, CNC administrators and third party software developers who wish to use RUNUBE tool to execute or schedule JDE batch jobs using native operating system methods including batch scripts.

Document applies only to scenarios where RUNUBE command is directly used on OS command prompts. Scripting techniques and script troubleshooting is NOT within scope of Oracle Support.
