Goal

Customers might run into issues upgrading their versions when doing a EnterpriseOne application release software upgrade. This document goes over how to make sure your versions are going to merge to the upgraded E1 software release.

Also, this document highlight the question on UBE Versions during an upgrade, are they preserved as long as they are checked into the server? In this example here, customer has UBE custom versions for JDE standard reports and versions created for their custom UBE reports.

 Transfer Versions to the Upgrade Environment
 Use UTB to View Your Version Spec Files for the Environment being Upgraded
 If Spec Merge Stops, Check UTB to View the Version Spec Files for the Target Environment
 If Version Specs are not there, Re-Run Spec Merge, in Restart Mode, to Merge Version Specs
